Welcome!
I am Savannah Phillipps (she/her), and I am a lesbian cisgender counseling intern at Mockingbird Counseling.
Life presents us with challenges that can often feel overwhelming. I am here to offer an empathetic space where you can explore your experiences, navigate your challenges, and discover your strengths.
My therapeutic approach is client centered. I incorporate narrative therapy, mindfulness-based techniques, motivational interviewing and affirmative therapy-based practices. Mindfulness can help clients connect with the present moment, develop greater self-awareness, and cultivate a sense of peace amidst life’s challenges. My goal is to meet you where you are, honor your individual journey, and empower you to uncover meaning in your story and take steps toward the life you deserve.
I am passionate about creating a welcoming space for everyone, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, or background. I firmly believe that all individuals deserve find authenticity and be seen, heard, and valued for who they are.
I have a particular interest in working with adults, couples, and individuals, the LGBTQIA+ community, and the harm reduction community. You don’t have to face the challenges of life alone, I want to provide you support and skills to take control of your life for good, Together, we can create a space where you feel safe to grow into your authentic self and embrace the life you envision.
